This is an archive of Trackback specifications I found around the internet in 2012. Many of the old URLs hosting those were broken, so I had to recover them from the Internet Archive.
In 2005, work began to fix all the open issues with the Trackback specifications. It should become an RFC, and a IETF working group was started. The RFC sadly never came to life, except for an early draft.
A number of open issues with the draft were collected on the Lifewiki, but never got integrated. Especially interesting are the "paces".
